Cloverdale students co-host "Literary Nation" radio talk show
throughout the Little Rock School District. This event will help create a positive liaison between Cloverdale Middle School and the LRSD with the community of Little Rock.
The students who participated in this event were exposed to the worlds of journalism, mass media and broadcasting and the many careers that are possible in those fields. By interviewing the two authors, they also were encouraged to read more and improve their English and literacy skills. Perhaps one day one of them will become a best-selling author!

Cloverdale Middle School students Olivia Grimes, Mikyel Caffey and Juan Sosa served as co-hosts for a radio program on KABF FM 88.3 on December 17 and interviewed live on air nationally known writers Dr. Tony Medina and Sharon Flake. Ms. Flake is the author of Cloverdale’s Book of the Month, Bang!
